This poor tiny little sweetie has had a horrible start to life. Our rescue took her in emaciated and something seriously wrong with her eye. Vet said the 3rd eyelid grew over her eye and it would need to be removed. But she was too thin for surgery.
Put her in foster care, and 12 hours later she was lifeless. Took back to ER and he tested positive for parvo :-( She was hospitalized and put on IVs. A week later, she had recovered and bouncing around happily and healthy.
After all this, still too thin for surgery to remove her eye and have her spayed yet. Maybe in a few more weeks.
She is around 4-5 pounds. Maybe 4 months old. So will be a small girl. Looks like a long hair Chihuahua mix.
We will have her spay and eye taken care of.
Then our "million dollar puppy" will be available for adoption. Might consider a home prior to her surgery so she can recover with her fur-ever family.
Adoption fee will be $150, and accepting donations for her care ASAP.
