Meet Madison! This gal is 7 years old, but you'd never know it by the way she plays with the year old pup her foster mom has (see picture)! Madison was an owner surrender - her family did not have time for her, and had relegated her to the garage for the past several years. She had become severely underweight, and a good samaritan convinced the family to let us give her a better chance with a home who could provide her with the attention she desperately needs. Madison is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, is now on a good food and gaining weight daily, and is now looking for a forever home to take her in and experience the wonderful love and joy that she so longs to give. Madison is housetrained and gets along well with cats and other dogs, although a slow introduction is necessary. She also enjoys small children (and probably older ones, too, we just haven't had the opportunity to experience them yet!), walks, and just playing in general. Madison does have some medical needs - right now she is receiving Adequan shots (kind of a 'hyper' version of glucosamine/chondroitin) for arthritic hips, and is on supplements. For more information, please feel free to contact Becky at becky_s_barnhart@yahoo.com . Madison is a wonderful girl, and will put a smile on your face the moment you meet her. Don't let her age deter you - she is a true 'keeper'!!!
