Meet Hazel (formerly known as Sophia)! Hazel is a lovely girl, approximately 18 months old, and is looking for a new home that will understand that she is a VERY shy girl and that they need to be patient with her while she learns that "people" aren't going to be mean to her. Hazel has a high energy level for a Mastiff, and very much loves to play with other dogs. She is fine around children (even very small ones), but she is rather timid and we would prefer that she go to a quiet home where understanding adults will give her the time she needs to settle in and become part of the family. Hazel is housetrained, but because she is timid and startled easily, she does tend to urinate when scared. This is something she will get over in time, but her new family HAS to be patient with her through her adjustment period. Hazel is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
